India has issued a consultation opinion that technology companies have obtained government permission before launching a new model, thereby involving debates about global artificial intelligence supervision. The Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology issued this proposal on Friday. This consultation opinion has not been announced in the public field, and it also requires technology companies to ensure that their services or products are "not allowed to prejudice or discriminate, or threatened the fairness of the election process."

The ministry quoted the power given by the 2000 "Information Technology Law" and 2021 "Information Technology Rules".The ministry requested "take effect immediately" and requires technology companies to submit the "Action and Status Report" to the ministry within 15 days.
The new consultation opinion also requires technology companies to "properly" marked the output generated by its artificial intelligence model "may be with inherent errors or unreliable", which marks India that has reversed an indifferent attitude towards artificial intelligence supervision.Less than a year ago, the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology refused to supervise the development of artificial intelligence, but believed that the industry was crucial to India’s strategic interests.Kanpur Stock
